HSINCAM is a small-batch large format camera brand operated personally by a working photographer. Each camera is hand-inspected before shipment. We want you to love your camera the moment you unbox it, so we offer the following return and warranty protections.

ACCEPTABLE RANGE FOR PRECISION MANUFACTURING

HSINCAM uses CNC machining, metal 3D printing, and other advanced materials processes. Each camera is hand-inspected before shipment. The nature of precision metal manufacturing means minor process traces and non-significant design detail refinements are normal. The following fall within normal manufacturing range, do not constitute defects, and are not eligible under this refund policy:

▍ Process-related (within or across production batches)
- Minor surface machining traces (visible only on close inspection, does not affect function)
- Batch-to-batch anodizing tone variation
- Surface texture characteristics of 3D-printed parts
- Minor color variation on screws, grips, nameplates, etc.
- Bellows fold distribution differences
- Minor fingerprints or dust at delivery (cleanable)

▍ Non-significant design detail refinements

HSINCAM operates as small-batch precision manufacturing. We reserve the right to continuously refine non-significant design details without compromising function, precision, or overall design language, including but not limited to:
- Adjustments to chamfer radius and corner transitions
- Minor screw hole position or diameter offsets
- Surface finish process improvements
- Non-visible internal structural optimization

Such detail differences may exist between batches and do not constitute defects.

"Manufacturing defects" refer to issues affecting camera function, structural strength, sealing, optical precision, or significantly impacting visual quality — not process traces or non-significant design detail refinements. 1. MANUFACTURING DEFECTS — 30-DAY FREE REPLACEMENT

If within 30 days of delivery you discover any of the following defects falling within the "Manufacturing Defects" definition above, HSINCAM will cover all costs:
- Machining flaws or visible cosmetic defects
- Mechanical malfunctions present at the factory (gear binding, light leaks in bellows, misaligned ground glass, etc.)
- Precision issues not caught during factory QC

Process:
- Contact support@hsincam.com within 7 days of discovery, including your serial number and photos/video of the issue
- We will respond within 3 business days with a resolution (repair, replacement, or full refund)
- Return shipping is paid by HSINCAM for verified defects

2. STANDARD IN-STOCK PRODUCTS — 14-DAY CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURN

Applies to: standard-configuration FM45-L, FM45-P, and standard black bellows held as in-stock inventory.

Conditions:
- Return request submitted within 14 days of delivery
- Product in brand-new, unused, unmounted condition
- Original packaging, all accessories, factory labels, and warranty card retained
- No signs of wear, scratches, chemical residue, or dust

Costs:
- Buyer is responsible for round-trip international shipping
- Payment processing fees (credit card / PayPal, approximately 4%) are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund
- Refund issued to original payment method within 7–14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product

3. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following are final sale and cannot be cancelled or returned:
- Custom orders: non-standard bellows colors (red, orange, blue, green, etc.), bespoke configurations, and any product made to customer specifications
- Pre-orders: 810II and other made-to-order models; orders are non-cancellable once placed
- Opened accessories: bellows, ground glass, film holders, lens boards once removed from packaging
- Damage from misuse: drops, water exposure, disassembly, unauthorized modification
- Normal wear: bellows fold creases, minor surface scratches, anodizing patina, ground glass scratches from cleaning or handling

4. WARRANTY

HSINCAM provides a limited warranty on each camera from the date of delivery, covering only manufacturing defects present at the factory or revealed under normal use.

▍ Chassis and mechanical system: 24 months
- Structural defects in the chassis
- Focusing mechanism and gear drive failures
- Ground glass plane / front and rear standard precision

▍ Consumables and accessories: 12 months (manufacturing defects only)
- Bellows: factory light leaks, stitching defects
- Ground glass: internal bubbles, uneven matte surface, factory frame planarity issues
- Grip leather: factory delamination
- Lens boards and other accessories: machining defects

▍ Not covered by warranty (regardless of category or timeframe)
- Damage from drops, impacts, water exposure, or chemical contact
- Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or third-party repair
- Damage from misuse, excessive force, or operator error
- Normal wear: bellows fold creases, minor surface scratches, anodizing patina, leather aging, ground glass scratches from cleaning or handling
- Damage caused by third-party lenses, film holders, tripods, or other accessories

During the warranty period, the buyer covers shipping to HSINCAM; HSINCAM covers return shipping to the buyer.

5. LIFETIME PAID REPAIR SERVICE

Beyond the warranty period, HSINCAM offers lifetime paid repair service for all cameras we have built.

We believe a HSINCAM camera should be capable of being passed on to the next generation. No matter the age of your camera, as long as HSINCAM is in operation, we will service it. Repair costs are quoted based on actual parts and labor required. Contact support@hsincam.com for a quote.

6. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN OR WARRANTY SERVICE

Within the applicable window, email support@hsincam.com with:
1. Order number
2. Serial number (engraved on the bottom of the body)
3. Reason for return or service request
4. Photos or video if applicable

We will respond within 3 business days with an RMA number and the correct return address.

▍ Important: do not ship returns to our registered business address listed under Contact Information. That address is a registered office, not our workshop or returns facility. Packages sent there without an RMA cannot be received or refunded, and we cannot reimburse return shipping costs for unauthorized returns.
