The 810II is HSINCAM's 8×10 system platform. 4.7 kg, full-metal-structure CNC body, with a rear that supports mechanical horizontal/vertical orientation switching.

Why an 8×10 metal camera

8×10 is not a scaled-up 4×5. At this size, every deformation that could be ignored on 4×5 becomes a visible shift on the 200 × 250 mm ground glass; every joint that loosens over a decade becomes a future light leak.

The 810II's structural approach: an aerospace aluminum CNC body, every structural joint connected by metal threading and precision tolerances — no glued joints anywhere. Dimensionally stable across temperature, humidity, and altitude. Ten years without deformation.

Structure & system

Full-metal-structure CNC body — 6061-T6 aluminum. CNC machining keeps tolerances consistent across all structural parts, suited for long-term high-frequency use.

Mechanical horizontal/vertical switching — the rear supports both orientations. A mechanical locking mechanism returns both directions to the same focal plane — no re-leveling, no tripod head adjustment.

Maintenance-free focus drive — German precision gears, engineered for the 8×10 load. Self-lubricating materials, sealed structure. No oiling, calibration, or factory service required within the camera's lifespan.

Bellows extension 85 – 650 mm — full coverage from wide to telephoto for 8×10 work. At maximum extension, CNC base rails and dual-locked front and rear standards maintain ground glass planar integrity.

Integrated Fresnel ground glass — included as standard. The Fresnel is etched directly into the back of the ground glass, forming a single optical plane: no corner darkening, focal plane and image plane perfectly aligned.
