The FM45-P is the precision version of the FM45 line. 4×5 large format. Full CNC aerospace aluminum body. 2.2 kg. Same operational logic as the FM45-L, with an all-metal structure and tighter engineering tolerances.

Why a precision metal version

The FM45-L uses carbon fiber to solve the weight problem — it's light enough to actually be taken out.

The FM45-P solves a different problem: when large format becomes the core of your workflow, the camera needs to withstand a decade of high-frequency use. The extra 200 g translates into torsional rigidity, joint longevity, and a more stable focal plane.

Structure & system

Full-metal structure — 6061-T6 aluminum, no carbon fiber components.

Fold-out front standard — independent axis, no multi-joint linkage. Faster deployment and higher repeatability.

Built-in Graflok back — direct compatibility with 6×7 / 6×9 / 6×12 roll backs, Polaroid 545, and digital backs. No adapters required.

Maintenance-free focus drive — German precision gears, self-lubricating materials, sealed structure. No oiling, calibration, or factory service required within the camera's lifespan.

Integrated Fresnel ground glass — etched directly into the back surface of the ground glass, eliminating dual-layer optical parallax. Included as standard.

Modular rear assembly — independently upgradeable to 4×10 or a dedicated digital back mount.

Lifetime paid service — parts kept in stock.
