The FM45-P uses a full-metal structure. 4×5 large format, 6061-T6 aluminum load-bearing structure, 2.2 kg. It shares the core drive and back system with the FM45-L; the differences are structural materials, the lens-board lock, and the front-tilt zero stop.

Why a full-metal structure

The front and rear standard supports and load-bearing structural parts are 6061-T6 aluminum. This configuration is intended for users who prioritize body rigidity and support for heavier lenses.

A dual-claw lens-board lock and 90° tilt zero stop help hold the front standard at zero with a heavy lens. The FM45-L and FM45-P are two configurations for different use cases, not a product hierarchy.

Structure & system

Full-metal structure — 6061-T6 aluminum for the load-bearing structure and front/rear standard supports; self-lubricating engineering polymer for transmission and moving parts.

Lens-board lock — dual-claw metal mechanism for Linhof-format lens boards.

Tilt zero stop — 90° stop helps hold the front standard at zero with a heavy lens.

Built-in Graflok back — compatible with Graflok 4×5 roll-film backs and film holders.

Self-lubricating focus drive — precision gears and PA12 SLS engineering-polymer moving parts. No routine oiling required.

Integrated Fresnel ground glass — supplied as standard with a grid.

Lifetime paid service — parts kept in stock.
